Mozambique: president Nyusi launches Ignite Power Project to supply energy to 1.8 million people

The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, inaugurated the first solar home system in the country, provided by Ignite Power, beginning a large scale project to supply electricity to a total of 1.8 million Mozambicans, 1.2 millions of whom are children. The national project will connect 6.2% of the population living in remote areas of the country in the next three years.
